Dedicated to my poppa who finished his dance with a well lived life, today, aged 94 years.

Welcome friends and thank you for your support of my artwork. I am very glad you like what I do.

I will not always be able to thank each person for every fave although I will always try my best to reply to your comments, notes and devwatches because I enjoy them very much.

The Danse Macabre or Dance of Death unites all, reminding us how fragile our life and how vain the glories and material pursuits become. The earliest artistic examples of the Danse Macabre are dated from 1424 and found in a frescoed cemetery in Paris.

A last dance as cold comfort it evokes a hysterical desire for amusement while still possible and is usually depicted as the personification of death leading dancing, skeletal figures to the grave.

Also known as Danza Macabra (Italian and Spanish), Dança da Morte (Portuguese), or Totentanz (German).
